What you will do

• Design, develop, publish, and maintain healthcare courses in the institution’s LMS.
• Create syllabi, course overviews, learning outcomes, multimedia activities, assessments, and interactive eLearning modules.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform specialized knowledge into engaging, accessible, student-centered learning experiences.
• Apply adult learning theory and evidence-based instructional design practices to online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses.
• Maintain curriculum alignment, accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate learning technologies, gather feedback, analyze outcomes, and recommend course improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering higher education courses.
• Experience with instructional technology, multimedia authoring tools, course development software, and LMS platforms; Canvas experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models, writing, editing, project management, and organization.
• Knowledge of online learning compliance requirements, including FERPA, copyright, and ADA.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and adapt to new technologies.

Nice to have

• Four or more years of experience applying learning theory to online course development.
• Higher education administration experience.
