What you will do

• Prepare and revise utility design drawings, exhibits, and construction documents from redlines and engineering input.
• Use ArcGIS to create, edit, and analyze spatial data for utility layouts.
• Coordinate electric and gas distribution designs with engineers, project managers, and project teams.
• Interpret sketches, notes, and field data to develop efficient, constructible utility layouts.
• Apply QA/QC procedures and agency checklists to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Submit utility permit applications, coordinate with agencies, and communicate project progress.

Requirements

• Associate degree in CAD, GIS, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS, mapping and data analysis, electric and gas distribution design standards, civil construction drawings, and utility coordination.
• Knowledge of asset/resource management tools such as ARM or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
• Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime.

Nice to have

• Prior experience supporting utility design, construction, or maintenance in a consulting or engineering environment.
