Manufacturing Engineer (Plastics)

Location: Remote Midwest with travel; Greenville, Texas

What you will do

• Develop and implement plant process technology to reduce variation, optimize manufacturing, improve workflow and cell design, and remove production bottlenecks.
• Analyze equipment layouts, plant layouts, assembly methods, cell design, and workforce utilization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support technical teams with equipment downtime root-cause analysis and provide technical input on equipment, tools, product quality, and manufacturing improvements.
• Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities and conduct time studies to optimize production capabilities.
• Manage and lead plant capital improvement projects.
• Provide technical support for mold moves involving internal plants and contract molders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Structural foam experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
