Demand Planner (Semiconductor)

Location: Daily onsite presence in San Jose, California, United States

Base pay: $152,000–$236,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead demand planning for Samsung DRAM products and balance quarterly demand forecasts against supply plans.
• Analyze market, customer, segment, competitive, TAM, SAM, and market-share data to identify opportunities and support strategy.
• Develop customer allocations and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
• Analyze customer sales trends, demand forecasts, inventory, product allocation, and supply gaps to recommend planning adjustments.
• Monitor forecast variances with Sales and coordinate revisions with Segment Marketing.
• Prepare weekly updates for headquarters and collaborate on lead times, capacity, supply positions, and product mix.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred, and an MBA is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor supply/demand planning or hardware-related technology.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of MRP systems.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with global cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Self-motivated, influential, and able to work effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels.
