Sr. Demand Planner

Annual base salary: $119,000–$160,000

What you will do

• Support demand planning strategy for an assigned product group in alignment with business and financial goals for North America.
• Analyze demand trends, channel data, replenishment signals, and historical performance to create product-level plans for up to 18 months.
• Build and maintain SKU-level forecasts using analytical, statistical, and system-based planning tools.
• Prepare scenario analyses, performance summaries, inventory insights, and risk and opportunity assessments for S&OP and business reviews.
• Monitor inventory and help mitigate shortages, excess inventory, and aging stock risks.
• Coordinate NPI and EOL planning, track forecast and service-level KPIs, improve planning tools and processes, and mentor new team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, supply chain management, data science, or a related field.
• Approximately 7–10 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, business analytics, or a related function.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with forecasting, planning, and reporting tools such as MS Excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of S&OP or integrated business planning processes and statistical forecasting methods.
• Role location: San Jose, California, USA. North America market, customer, and channel knowledge is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, Kinaxis, or similar planning systems.
• Experience in consumer electronics, FMCG, or CPG environments.
• Interest in advanced analytics and AI-enabled planning tools.
