What you will do

• Prospect new business through existing clients, program channels, target groups, and leads from producers and bankers.
• Service assigned accounts while contacting potential new customers.
• Survey prospects, inspect current policies and risk management plans, and assess insurance needs.
• Screen leads and determine whether hirify.global Insurance Agency can meet the prospect’s requirements.
• Collect risk and underwriting information, including census data, survey data, and loss history.
• Develop and present tailored insurance proposals covering coverage, limits, deductibles, renewals, and related details.

Requirements

• Previous insurance experience.
• Texas Department of Insurance general agent/L&H and P&C license, or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to establish rapport quickly and work effectively with others.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to pursue and close sales; proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Insurance designation such as ACSR, CEBS, RHU, CLU, CLCU, or CLFC.
