Multimedia Journalist/Anchor (Broadcast Journalism)

What you will do

• Create original news, feature, lifestyle, consumer, and community content through reporting, research, interviews, and community engagement.
• Anchor live and recorded programming across broadcast and streaming platforms, including CW39+.
• Develop story ideas and produce content independently by shooting, writing, editing, publishing, and presenting assigned work.
• Create articles, videos, live streams, special projects, and audience engagement initiatives for digital and social platforms.
• Collaborate with producers, reporters, photographers, and digital teams on accurate, impactful multi-platform coverage.
• Respond to breaking news, participate in community events and public appearances, and engage with viewers through social media.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Fluency in English and excellent written, oral, live presentation, and ad-libbing skills.
• At least five years of experience in reporting, anchoring, multimedia journalism, or news and media content creation.
• Strong storytelling, news judgment, current-events awareness, and audience engagement skills.
• Experience shooting, writing, editing, and publishing content across broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms, plus proficiency with newsroom, editing, streaming, and digital publishing technologies.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and flexibility to work any shift.
