  • Develop and release build flows, work instructions, and test procedures for repeatable, high-quality production.
  • Support first-article builds and develop scalable processes for increasing production rates.
  • Provide hands-on floor support during build and test, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with design, supply chain, production, and test teams on part readiness, tooling, schedules, and handoffs.
  • Help develop manufacturing systems and infrastructure, including tooling strategies, ERP/MES workflows, and production documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Engineering or related technical degree and 2+ years of hands-on experience building and testing hardware in a manufacturing or integration environment.
  • Experience investigating hardware issues, resolving non-conformances, and driving root cause analysis with corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of assembly and test procedures, including tolerance stack-up analysis, structural proof testing, and pressurized leak checks.
  • Ability to collaborate across design, manufacturing, supply chain, and test functions.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, CAD, and basic design or test analysis.
  • Experience in at least two of the following: LOX cleanliness, leak checking, sensor checkouts, tube bending, tool design, crane operations, or subassembly builds.

Nice to have

  • Experience with aerospace product introduction or transitioning hardware from prototype to production.
  • Experience authoring and executing test procedures or serving as a test conductor.
  • Familiarity with hazardous operations, fluid system safety, or pressurized and high-risk test environments.
  • Experience in lean environments, vendor engagement, tool development, or leading small teams through ambiguous build or test efforts.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work closely with engineers and technicians in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Competitive salary and equity.
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and parental leave.
  • Annual learning and development stipend.
  • Opportunity to contribute to rocket, factory, and manufacturing process development.
