HRIS Analyst - Data Analytics (Workday)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri, United States; onsite

Full-time employment with no travel required.

Core & Main is a U.S. specialty distributor providing water, wastewater, storm drainage, and fire protection products and related services.

What you will do

• Maintain HR information system data integrity and support associate and information loads.
• Gather, normalize, analyze, and research HR and organizational data, including trends and benchmarks.
• Design and implement reports, spreadsheets, charts, and ad hoc analyses for strategic decision-making.
• Analyze system data, define data terms, document limitations, and translate findings for end users.
• Audit HRIS access and security and assist with system recovery during disasters.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, business subject-matter experts, and cross-functional project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with generally 2–5 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with generally 2–4 years of related experience.
• Strong data analysis skills, including resolving missing, incomplete, inconsistent, or anomalous information.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, and analysis of financial or business data.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into specific end-user reporting requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass applicable pre-employment assessments.

Nice to have

• Experience with HR or organizational people data, such as headcount, turnover, and recruiting metrics.
• At least one year of experience configuring and managing Workday functionality.
• At least one year of experience with Workday reporting and analytics.
• Experience designing software applications and testing applications or data against user requirements.
