Senior Manager, Workday Reporting & Analytics (Workday)

Location: Remote - Illinois; the role is preferably based in the St. Petersburg, Florida office with a hybrid arrangement, while qualified remote candidates may be considered. Work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Salary: $100,000-$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Own day-to-day Workday reporting operations, including intake, prioritization, quality review, administration, case management, and maintenance.
• Lead a team of 2 to 3 individual contributors supporting Workday reporting, analytics, administration, and content governance.
• Establish reporting nomenclature, metadata standards, documentation, lifecycle controls, and People Analytics Marketplace governance.
• Build, test, maintain, and optimize Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, calculated fields, dashboards, discovery boards, and scorecards.
• Partner with HR, HR Technology, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Compensation, Talent, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
• Lead quality assurance, issue resolution, process improvement, stakeholder communication, coaching, and reporting best-practice adoption.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience with Workday reporting, including Workday Report Writer, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, calculated fields, dashboards, discovery boards, and scorecards.
• Strong understanding of Workday HCM data structures, business objects, security considerations, reporting dependencies, HR data, and workforce analytics.
• Experience with reporting governance, lifecycle management, metadata, naming standards, documentation, data quality, or analytics administration.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, computer and information science, accounting, human resources, analytics, data science, or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience preferred, including 3 to 6 years of managerial experience and experience leading direct reports or cross-functional reporting resources.
• Proficiency with Excel, data validation, stakeholder communication, prioritization, and team development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Prism, data models, or related analytics tools.
• Experience with Tableau, Qlik, ThoughtSpot, or similar data visualization platforms.
• Experience leading reporting governance or operations within HR or another complex function.
