Supervisor, Warehouse Receiving Dock - 1st Shift 5am-330pm - Monday-Thursday (Manufacturing)

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States; onsite, 1st shift from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Thursday

What you will do

• Supervise and support daily warehouse, receiving, shipping, and finished-goods activities.
• Oversee customer orders, internal shipments, packaging, receiving transactions, supporting documentation, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Hire, train, schedule, assign, and evaluate warehouse employees while addressing performance issues and resolving operational problems.
• Measure and report department effectiveness and maintain work instructions and procedures.
• Adjust workflows to meet customer commitments, production schedules, and warehouse demands.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations while improving service quality, efficiency, and equipment performance through lean practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of warehouse experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with lean methodologies and forklift certification.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• APICS/CPIM certification.
