Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, C Shift, M-F 11p-7a

Location: Onsite at 250 Chester St, Painesville, Ohio, USA. C shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

What you will do

• Move raw materials, work-in-process materials, finished goods, and other materials between warehouse, manufacturing, shipping, and receiving areas.
• Load and unload trucks and tankers and verify materials against shipping and receiving documents.
• Process outbound shipments, verify pallet quantities, and coordinate loading schedules to meet dispatch cut times.
• Record material movements in the inventory management system and support warehouse inventories, cycle counts, and discrepancy correction.
• Coordinate with Finishing, Coating, and Shipping/Receiving teams to meet order and production requirements.
• Support 5S, housekeeping, recycling, manufacturing waste reduction, and the site’s “0 is Achievable” goal.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• General computer skills and experience with programs such as Oracle, Telnet, OTM, Google Docs, and Lotus Notes.
• Good written and verbal communication, organization, customer service, time management, and independent working skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, work safely, contribute to a team environment, and address operational issues effectively.
• Valid forklift license required.
• Background check and drug screening required after an offer and as a condition of employment.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a similar production environment.
• Strong Oracle knowledge and usage.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and implementing Lean manufacturing processes.
• Project management and time management skills.
