Distribution Center Supervisor (Logistics)

What you will do

• Coordinate and supervise distribution center activities for the assigned shift.
• Lead inbound and outbound operations, including receiving, shipping, picking, and packing.
• Hire, train, assign, direct, and evaluate employees; address performance issues and complaints.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, shipment quality, workplace safety, equipment operation, and distribution center security.
• Create work schedules, complete records and reports, and use WMS metrics to improve productivity.
• Evaluate procedures and recommend improvements to efficiency and process flow.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Certification to operate forklifts, stand-up rider pallet jacks, electric reach trucks, and high-reach narrow-aisle equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with distribution center management software, WMS, AS400, or comparable systems; proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Knowledge of Lean and process-flow layout in distribution centers, with strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
