System Engineer 4

Location: On-site in Columbia, Maryland, United States. United States citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required.

Hourly compensation: $68.92–$125.89 per hour, before benefits.

What you will do

• Apply systems engineering principles across the Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement life-cycle phases.
• Perform activities and prepare work products across ISO/IEC 15288 Technical and Project Process Areas.
• Develop and deliver work products in Enterprise and Agreement Process Areas.
• Analyze technical alternatives and make preliminary recommendations for project solutions.
• Independently analyze project technical designs and recommend alternatives.
• Coordinate technical considerations with government stakeholders, program personnel, overseers, and senior executives.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• United States citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus six years of systems engineering experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED plus ten years of general systems engineering experience.
• Alternatively, a master’s degree plus four years of systems engineering experience, or a PhD plus two years of experience.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 15288 systems engineering process areas.
