Workday Technical Architect - Director

Location: Chicago, United States — 550 Van Buren

Base salary: $175,000–$225,000 annually. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive compensation: $227,500–$303,750.

What you will do

• Architect and implement enterprise Workday technology solutions and integration patterns.
• Lead client engagement delivery, technical discussions, and program-level solutioning.
• Oversee delivery teams and collaborate with hirify.global and client senior leaders.
• Design solutions involving Workday integrations, data conversion, migration, reporting, and custom development.
• Present technical solutions to prospects and support business development and sales efforts.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and serve as a technical advisor.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Workday integrations, including Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and APIs.
• Strong experience with data conversion, migration, and data quality management.
• Proven ability to design scalable enterprise architectures and integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend, reporting, and custom solution development.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead technical solutioning and business development discussions.
• More than 10 years of professional services or relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Experience with Agile delivery and large-scale Workday implementations.
• Experience with Prism Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, data privacy, and compliance, including GDPR and SOX.
