Workday Solutions Architect (Workday)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite at the Milpitas office

Salary: $142,000–$241,400 per year

What you will do

• Provide architectural guidance and governance for Workday projects, enhancements, updates, and releases.
• Review business requirements, assess impacts across Workday and related systems, and recommend implementation approaches.
• Oversee Workday configuration, security, reporting, integrations, and business process changes.
• Coordinate with HR business teams, IT, technical and integration teams, security teams, and implementation partners.
• Support design, testing, deployment, and production support while identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Help ensure Workday solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM.
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, security, reporting, integrations, and best practices.
• Experience supporting Workday projects, enhancements, or implementations.
• Knowledge of Workday security roles, access controls, integrations, APIs, EIBs, Studio, and Core Connectors.
• Ability to evaluate requirements, recommend practical solutions, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
• Experience working with HR, IT, security, and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global HR technology environment.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, and Reporting modules.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, InfoSec, compliance, audit, release planning, and governance.
• Workday certification.
