Pay range: $52.46–$120.27 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze user and system requirements and design, develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
• Design and support RESTful APIs, service integrations, and data access components for relational databases.
• Contribute to application and database modernization, including Spring Boot migrations, microservices, and containerization.
• Deploy and support containerized applications in Kubernetes across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews, troubleshooting, technical design, and continuous process improvement.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests, maintain CI/CD pipelines and documentation, and provide backup database administration support.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required, including active TS/SCI with an agency-appropriate polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• At least seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience with Java enterprise applications, Spring Boot or similar frameworks, and Angular or comparable frontend technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, automated testing, GitLab CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes resources, Helm, cloud-native architectures, Jira, Confluence, Agile environments, and structured data formats such as XML and JSON.
