Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Java)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems operating at significant scale.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and production-quality code.
• Build and operate Java and Spring Boot microservices with clean RESTful APIs, inter-service communication, and observability.
• Develop front-end applications using React and integrate them with cloud-native services.
• Deploy applications to AWS, Azure, or GCP and support them throughout their operational lifecycle.
• Collaborate through Git-based workflows, code reviews, CI/CD, and release management.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Java 11 or 17, Spring Boot, RESTful API design, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Production experience with microservices, SQL, relational databases, query tuning, and schema design.
• Experience with React, Git workflows, CI/CD, and at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; eligible candidates include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates.
• New H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent streaming platforms.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Distributed systems concepts including eventual consistency, CAP trade-offs, idempotency, and saga patterns.
• Automation testing and test-driven or behavior-driven development practices.
