Maintenance Technician II (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, facility, machinery, and equipment systems.
• Conduct detailed inspections and address potential issues before breakdowns occur.
• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Guide and support junior maintenance technicians.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with experience using tools and equipment safely.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work on-site in Dayton, Ohio.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Certification in a relevant technical field, such as HVAC or electrical systems.
• Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
