Maintenance Technician

Location: Boise, ID, United States

Salary: $17.00–$18.00 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, janitorial equipment, and vehicle-related systems.
• Perform routine, predictive, and preventive maintenance on floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, and related machinery.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and complete repairs using hand and power tools.
• Maintain clean work areas, maintenance logs, and service schedules.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and communicate technical issues professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Use scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding while following industrial safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least six months of company-based experience or equivalent training in plumbing, painting, HVAC, construction, or a related area.
• At least two years of electrical experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency required for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to work safely in industrial environments and complete required safety, environmental, task training, and certifications.
• Valid driver's license, forklift certification, and electric pallet jack certification may be required.
