Location: Houston, Texas, United States; onsite work at IAH Airport

What you will do

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on airport facility systems and controls.
  • Execute reactive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
  • Document maintenance work accurately in the CMMS.
  • Interpret manuals and work orders to complete service tasks.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and communicate critical updates to the Site Manager.
  • Follow safety standards and collaborate with a diverse team.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in equipment and maintenance operations.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
  • Availability for day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work on an airport ramp, around aircraft, heavy equipment, moving mechanical parts, and in confined areas.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and perform ladder, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and small-space work.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Airport operations or facility maintenance experience.
  • Plumbing or electrical experience with 480V, three-phase motors.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting techniques, and common computer applications.
