CNC Operator - Second Shift

Pay: $27.48–$34.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Set up and operate numerical-control machine tools for milling, drilling, broaching, and reaming metal and plastic parts.
• Select, measure, assemble, and adjust drill bits, milling tools, cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machine controls.
• Insert and clamp materials, fit parts, cut pipe to specified dimensions, and complete mechanical or electrical assemblies.
• Read job specifications, create shop drawings when required, and label, tag, package, and palletize finished products.
• Perform preventative machine maintenance, maintain an orderly work area, follow safety procedures, and report mechanical or material issues.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; specialized training or certification may be required.
• 3–5 years of CNC experience required, with 1–2 years of CNC experience specified as a minimum.
• Strong knowledge of CNC mills, lathes, and machining processes.
• Ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC machines; familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, or similar controls.
• Ability to pass applicable pre-employment assessments and perform physical work, including lifting materials weighing 50+ pounds.

Nice to have

• AutoCAD certification.
• Previous quality control experience.
