CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

What you will do

• Set up and operate Fanuc and HAAS CNC milling centers using Mastercam.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, operation sequences, and setup requirements.
• Machine components to close tolerances using the required gauges and inspection methods.
• Document setup and operating information with written descriptions, sketches, and photographs.
• Train junior operators and apprentices while maintaining equipment, supplies, quality, and safety standards.
• Work overtime and weekends when required; travel is expected at 0–10%.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of manual machining and CNC setup and operation experience, including conversational programming.
• Ability to read and understand complex machine and component drawings.
• Ability to speak and read English and understand verbal instructions.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems, work with limited supervision, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• High work ethic, teamwork, sense of urgency, and ability to train others.
• Mastercam proficiency is preferred; the posting asks candidates to state whether US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
