Continuous Improvement Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Clinton, South Carolina, USA; office and manufacturing environment with approximately 20% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead the deployment of continuous improvement projects aligned with NBS Next initiatives.
• Develop, train, and coach employees at all organizational levels in continuous improvement fundamentals.
• Define and execute short- and long-term continuous improvement strategies for the ICS business.
• Lead Lean initiatives and problem-solving projects across business functions to improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost.
• Identify, quantify, and prioritize cost-saving initiatives while maintaining the project pipeline.
• Share standardized practices across the global ICS business and represent ICS on the Global Continuous Improvement Steering Committee.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field preferred; 12 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• 4–6 years of progressive continuous improvement experience with demonstrated business acumen, leadership, and results delivery.
• Proficiency in Lean thinking across operational and transactional environments.
• Experience in change management and transformation initiatives.
• Experience facilitating SIPOC or comparable process-mapping sessions.
• Experience building and tracking projects using detailed project plans.

• Creative and analytical thinking with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead initiatives collaboratively and independently, manage concurrent projects, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP.
