Continuous Improvement Specialist (EV & Energy Storage)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States; night shift. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

What you will do

• Coach operations leaders, CI coaches, change leaders, and key contributors in lean manufacturing, daily management, and change management.
• Conduct Gemba walks and improve visual management, production flow, defect reduction, standard work, and problem-solving discipline.
• Develop value stream maps, future-state targets, lean transformation plans, A3s, and JDI activities.
• Plan, facilitate, and follow up on plant Rapid Improvement Events and their action plans.
• Develop and deliver training on A3 management, Kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management, pull systems, and lean conversion.
• Communicate lean progress and share successful practices across shifts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of continuous improvement experience in manufacturing.
• Strong technical background in a high-volume manufacturing environment, including process development and process improvement.
• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and project management skills.
• Ability to influence change without direct authority and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Working-level English is required, along with unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Previous PENA high performance culture training for internal candidates.
• Experience with servant leadership and Panasonic’s core principles.
