Senior Continuous Improvement Manager (Manufacturing)

Senior Continuous Improvement Manager (Manufacturing): Leading and optimizing operational efficiency across multiple manufacturing sites with an accent on Lean methodologies and the One hirify.global Performance System. Focus on bridging the gap between CI tools and tangible shop floor results through high-energy Gemba execution and matrix leadership.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in or able to work from North Andover, MA, Groveport, OH, or St. Paul's, NC (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Travel up to 50% required.

What you will do

• Provide matrix leadership and coaching to onsite CI Managers and hourly leads across 3–6 manufacturing locations.
• Facilitate high-impact Kaizens and complex problem-solving events directly on the manufacturing floor.
• Translate top-level business goals into a concrete, cross-functional improvement funnel executed by the shop floor.
• Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities to drive measurable AOP success and P&L impact.
• Lead CI Steering Committees to remove organizational barriers and align Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Spend 40–60% of time on the shop floor actively coaching and guiding transformation activities in real time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related technical field, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing/operations with a track record of owning results.
• Direct experience in Operations Supervision or Production Management.
• Expert-level knowledge of Lean methods (VSM, SMED, TPM, Material Flow).
• Proven ability to build engagement and drive outcomes via influence in a matrix organization.
• Strong data proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint to influence senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Lean Transformation expertise or Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Experience with SAP.
