TL;DR
Process Improvement Specialist (Manufacturing): Analyzing and improving business processes for engineered and manufactured modular systems with an accent on process mapping, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, training, and performance metrics. Focus on identifying process gaps, optimizing workflows, implementing SOPs, and leading cross-functional change initiatives.

Location: Houston, TX (TAS-Cullen HQ), United States; onsite

Employment type: Full time. The position is performed primarily at a desk, with approximately 80% to 95% of the work involving computer-based analysis and documentation.

hirify.global's TAS division engineers and manufactures packaged modular systems for data centers, power, and commercial and industrial utility applications.

What you will do

  • Analyze current business processes, create and maintain process maps, and conduct gap analyses.
  • Build cross-functional teams to evaluate end-to-end processes and upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Develop and implement improvements that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Create work instructions, standard operating procedures, and TAS process-map standards.
  • Develop training materials, conduct workshops, train subject-matter experts, and maintain training records.
  • Monitor process changes, facilitate improvement workshops, and assist with metrics and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or related work.
  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, project management, and change management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and database usage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple shifting priorities.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree.
  • Extensive experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Familiarity with process automation and technology solutions.
