Project Manager II (Aerospace)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; hybrid work environment balancing office and remote work. U.S. citizenship is required because the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Estimated starting salary range: $108,496.89–$149,183.22 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manage multiple moderate-complexity projects or one larger project through proposal development, execution, and closeout.
• Assemble cross-functional project teams, assign responsibilities, and coordinate resources.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Track milestones, budgets, performance indicators, and project risks.
• Communicate project status and prepare reports for senior project and program stakeholders.
• Adapt project plans and scope to changing requirements while ensuring timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience; without a degree, at least 8 years of related experience is required.
• At least 4 years of project management or related technical experience.
• Experience managing complex projects with multifunctional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with Earned Value Management, risk planning, scope control, and resource management.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, AS9100, or CMMI standards.
• Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.
