Project Manager, SDI Services (Solar Construction)

Location: Sacramento, CA, United States; frequent travel is expected.

Salary: $110,448–$138,060 per year

SDI Services, an hirify.global affiliate, specializes in solar predrill and pile foundation installation and supports integrated project execution.

What you will do

• Lead assigned projects across contract management, communication, reporting, scheduling, budgeting, change management, risk management, document control, meetings, and closeout.
• Plan, direct, supervise, and control the technical, fiscal, and administrative execution of construction projects.
• Manage drilling pile, racking, and module installation scopes, quality control, safety standards, and installation best practices.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, equipment logistics, and field-office communication.
• Manage field management personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Support customer communication, site walks, pre-construction planning, technical evaluations, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication, drafting, and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of project management control systems, including scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
