Project Manager (Maritime Robotics)

Location: San Diego, CA (in-office). The role requires 25–35% travel, including occasional travel outside the United States. Only U.S. persons may be considered, and candidates must be independently authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, plus stock options, 401(k) matching, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Own the execution of external and internal projects, including customer contracts, government and military exercises, demonstrations, and internal initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
• Manage customer contracts and coordinate delivery against contract terms.
• Coordinate matrixed personnel across Engineering, Production, Fleet Operations, and Business Development.
• Track project hours, expenditures, invoicing inputs, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, lead project meetings, and coordinate project documentation and proposal inputs.

Requirements

• At least three years of Project Manager experience on government contracts.
• Experience managing small engineering development projects or maritime operations contracts.
• Experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
• Experience scoping cost, schedule, and technical approach for proposals.
• Strong communication, organization, customer relationship, and matrix-team coordination skills.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and authorization to work in the United States as a U.S. person; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.
