TL;DR
Global Medical Affairs Lead, Oncology (mRNA): Leading global medical strategy for oncology assets from early development through commercialization with an accent on integrated evidence planning, medical governance, and external scientific engagement. Focus on directing cross-functional launch readiness, building evidence packages for regulators and payers, and shaping global oncology strategy across complex stakeholder groups.

Location: Hybrid, based in either the Cambridge, Massachusetts or Princeton, New Jersey office; 70% in-office work model. The position is limited to U.S. persons under U.S. export control requirements.

Salary: $210,900–$379,200 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

  • Own the global medical strategy for the oncology portfolio from early development through lifecycle management.
  • Provide final medical accountability for assigned programs and deliver integrated medical plans.
  • Lead medical governance and cross-functional decisions across development, regulatory, clinical, and commercial functions.
  • Direct integrated evidence planning and build data packages for regulators, payers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead global launch readiness, including medical training, evidence generation, scientific engagement, and narrative development.
  • Manage global medical matrix teams, external thought-leader partnerships, publication strategies, medical education, real-world evidence programs, budgets, and resource planning.

Requirements

  • MD or non-U.S. equivalent, PharmD, or PhD with extensive oncology medical affairs leadership experience.
  • At least 15 years of Medical Affairs experience, including substantial global responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated global launch planning and execution experience in oncology or immuno-oncology.
  • Deep oncology therapeutic-area expertise and strong strategic leadership skills.
  • Experience in regulatory affairs, scientific communications, external stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person under U.S. export control laws; hirify.global cannot sponsor non-U.S. persons for an export control license.

Nice to have

  • Melanoma and immunotherapy experience.
  • Experience with KOL engagement, strategic external collaborations, and cross-company governance.
  • Experience partnering with pharmacovigilance, biostatistics, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs.
  • Strong project leadership, scientific storytelling, and program-level delivery management capabilities.
