What you will do

  • Lead integrated global medical strategies for the Cardiovascular and Repatha programs across marketed and pipeline assets.
  • Direct evidence generation, scientific communication, congress strategy, medical education, launch readiness, lifecycle management, and external engagement.
  • Partner with Global Development, Commercial, Access, R&D, Field Medical, and regional medical organizations to align scientific and medical objectives.
  • Build scientific narrative frameworks, publication strategies, educational initiatives, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Engage key opinion leaders, cooperative groups, professional societies, and academic networks to strengthen scientific partnerships.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor Global Medical Affairs teams while managing resources, budgets, innovation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 6 years of medical affairs experience, or master’s degree and 10 years, or bachelor’s degree and 12 years.
  • At least 6 years of managerial experience or leadership experience directing teams, projects, programs, or resources.
  • Experience with medical strategy, evidence generation, scientific communication, congress planning, and external engagement.
  • Experience supporting product launches, lifecycle management, and global and regional medical strategies.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, organizational leadership, financial, budgeting, and resource management skills.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and global regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

  • MD degree.
  • Experience with both inline and pipeline launches and 10 or more years in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience partnering with cooperative groups, professional societies, and academic institutions.
  • Experience using digital and AI-enabled solutions to improve medical engagement and operational effectiveness.
  • Deep understanding of global healthcare systems, reimbursement environments, and commercialization processes.
