TL;DR
Director, Global Medical Affairs Strategy & Execution (Oncology) (Medical Affairs/Oncology): Leading global medical affairs strategy and execution for oncology compounds, including integrated evidence generation plans, publication strategies, operating models, and research concept approvals with an accent on regional alignment, scientific publications, and cross-functional governance. Focus on coordinating worldwide medical affairs teams, managing budgets and vendors, and building evidence and publication plans across global and regional stakeholders.

Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States; ability to be in Raritan is required. Approximately 20% domestic and international travel may be required.

Base pay range: $164,000–$282,900 per year.

What you will do

  • Co-lead Integrated Evidence Generation Plans for compounds in development, reflecting prioritized regional and local needs.
  • Lead global publication planning and execution, including publication workflows, journal relationships, agency coordination, and vendor supervision.
  • Oversee the Worldwide Medical Affairs Strategy Team to obtain regional input and alignment.
  • Manage therapeutic area or product medical affairs budgets and external vendors.
  • Lead the Research Concept Approval Process for Medical Affairs studies and conduct due diligence activities.
  • Collaborate with medical affairs, R&D, marketing, regulatory, outcomes research, statistics, academic, consultant, and key opinion leader stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with internal and external partners, consultants, and vendors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, planning, interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a complex cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to work in Raritan, New Jersey, is required.

  • Oncology experience.
