Field Technician

Location: Field work throughout North America with rotational schedules, outdoor exposure, and work at heights

What you will do

• Operate company equipment and systems in field environments.
• Provide field operations and technical assistance, including troubleshooting.
• Use hand and power tools to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Complete certifications and assigned training for multiple company-owned or leased machines.
• Monitor safety and environmental requirements, assist with incident response and investigations, and follow PPE procedures.
• Operate and maintain a company vehicle while keeping a clean driving record.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of related experience, preferably in oil and gas, power generation, service rental, or electrically or mechanically focused work.
• High school diploma, skilled labor certificate, or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of tools; understanding of simple electronics and electrical equipment is beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work rotational, long, irregular, holiday, and on-call shifts, both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, wind, precipitation, and at heights; lift 50 pounds up to 10 times per shift.
