Verification Specialist I (Consumer Finance)

Location: Remote within specified United States states; office environment with significant time spent sitting, typing, and talking on the telephone. The role requires two evening shifts per week and a rotating Saturday.

Salary: USD $15.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Verify customer loan information through inbound and outbound calls, including identity, Social Security number, address, employment, and project completion details.
• Handle dealer and customer calls related to verification disputes, loan terms, documentation, project completion, and applicant contact issues.
• Identify unusual information, investigate potential issues, and escalate verification or risk-related concerns to management.
• Accurately update information and document call notes in required operating systems.
• Answer questions about interest, statements, and other account details while routing calls to the appropriate department.
• Follow company policies and procedures while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

Requirements

• Two years of call center or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and internet software.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work promptly and regularly, take direction, collaborate, concentrate, and adapt to change.
• Availability for two evening shifts per week and a rotating Saturday.
