Sr. Data Scientist - AI/ML

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; hybrid schedule with onsite work required

Salary: $110,000–$165,300 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Design and develop advanced data science and AI algorithms using optimization, simulation, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI.
• Collaborate with Data and AI Engineering teams to productionize and deploy scalable solutions in cloud environments.
• Analyze massive datasets, perform exploratory data analysis, engineer features, and build predictive models.
• Translate complex data and model outputs into actionable insights for business decisions.
• Mentor data scientists and contribute expertise in AI, optimization, or generative techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or postgraduate degree in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Analytics.
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Science or a related field, with a demonstrated record of business impact.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with OpenCV, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, and Pandas.
• Experience developing and testing code in cloud environments and working with large datasets on GCP or Azure.
• Experience applying machine learning, optimization, simulation, generative AI, and agentic AI to real-world problems.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, DevOps environments, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and deploying AI agents or agentic workflows in major cloud environments.
• Experience with foundational models, knowledge graphs, agentic platforms, and emerging AI techniques.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence business decisions.
