Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, architect, and develop interconnected, scalable platform components for end-to-end GenAI agentic workflows.
• Build capabilities for knowledge curation and management, search, prompt management, workflow orchestration, action execution, and semantic knowledge graphs.
• Evaluate technologies, tools, and frameworks while balancing build-versus-buy decisions, delivery speed, and extensibility.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, product managers, and designers to define requirements, scope, backlogs, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead platform implementation, resolve complex software issues, and drive architectural improvements for performance and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and junior technical leads and promote enterprise-wide AI engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience with at least two general-purpose programming languages, including Java, C++, Python, or C#.
• 10+ years of experience architecting and building multi-component AI/ML platforms using technologies such as search engines, data warehouses, streaming platforms, databases, distributed processing, and workflow management systems.
• 6+ years managing the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, testing, monitoring, alerting, and production support.
• 6+ years of experience with cloud providers such as Azure and AWS.
• 3+ years using or fine-tuning LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Mistral, or Claude to build conversational experiences or agentic workflows.
