What you will do

• Build evaluation benchmarks and metrics to measure model capability and alignment quality.
• Iterate on agent harness, including context engineering, agent memory, tools, and skills.
• Develop and maintain reproducible post-training pipelines from data ingestion to deployment.
• Design RL environments and reward functions for reasoning-intensive tasks.
• Profile and optimize training jobs to resolve bottlenecks and improve GPU utilization at multi-GPU scale.

Requirements

• BS in CS, EE, Math or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of software development background.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in ML engineering, data science, or ML research.
• Proficiency in Python and LLM architectures, optimization, and training dynamics.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks and benchmarks.
• Must be based in the US and eligible for hybrid work at specified sites.

Nice to have

• Masters or PhD degrees.
• Experience scaling full post-training pipelines, including SFT and reinforcement learning.
• Ability to drive a research agenda independently and generate hypotheses.
• Strong technical communication skills for explaining architectural trade-offs.
