Senior Software Engineer - Deposit Development (RPG/DB2)

Location: Hybrid in Monett, Missouri, with Springfield, Missouri as an additional location

What you will do

• Design, prototype, develop, test, and validate software for iSeries deposit applications.
• Build and support solutions for ACH, wires, analysis, sweeps, time deposits, and other deposit functions.
• Perform system analysis, programming, technical research, bug verification, and defect resolution.
• Provide application support throughout the software lifecycle, from code delivery through retirement.
• Collaborate with QA and customer support to deliver releases and diagnose production issues.
• Create technical documentation, estimate product efforts, contribute to architecture, and mentor less experienced peers.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional programming experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with RPG, SQL, and DB2.
• Experience developing and testing applications against business requirements and industry best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, cross-functional development team.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, or computer science.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, SOA architecture, or XML.
• Experience with JHA Deposits Core Banking, including SilverLake or CIF 20/20.
