Core App Developer II (RPG/AS400)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, with work at designated hirify.global offices and on-site equipment

hirify.global provides banking services and operates core banking applications supported by internal technology teams.

What you will do

• Design, code, unit test, and maintain banking applications using RPGLE, SQL RPG, CLLE, and equivalent technologies.
• Develop and maintain solutions based on Fiserv Signature and integrate applications through Fiserv Communicator.
• Create architecture, design, and data-flow diagrams and maintain user and technical documentation.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and create documentation for support teams.
• Lead requirements analysis and application design for smaller projects while working with internal customers and development teams.
• Participate in the full SDLC, change management, PMO governance, software installations, and special projects.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of banking experience.
• 3–5 years of iSeries AS400 development experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with Fiserv Signature core banking software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering with a programming concentration and at least 3 years of experience; alternatively, an associate degree with 6 years or a high school diploma with 8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of RPG, SQL, relational data models, SQL statements, software design, information security, automation, and unit testing.
• Ability to work with on-site equipment and comply with company policies and federal and state regulations.
