Senior Engineer, HP NonStop Development (HP NonStop)

Location: Hybrid; 50% office attendance required at St. Petersburg, FL, Memphis, TN, Southfield, MI, or Denver, CO, United States.

Salary: $75,000–$125,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, modify, maintain, and support ACATS and Mass Account Transfers back-office applications.
• Contribute to BOM account transfers modernization and regulatory and industry-mandated changes.
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, write code, test, implement, and support application software across the SDLC.
• Diagnose and correct complex software defects and performance issues.
• Write and review system specifications, documentation, test procedures, and validation materials.
• Provide technical advice and may lead assigned projects by coordinating tasks and monitoring delivery.

Requirements

• More than five years of relevant development or engineering experience is highly preferred; general experience requirement is 3–6 years.
• Experience with HP NonStop COBOL85, HPNS SQL/MX, SQL/MP, Pathway servers, and Tandem Guardian OS application development.
• Full Software Development Life Cycle experience.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid software development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science or Computer Engineering, or required high school education.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model and attend a designated United States office 50% of business days; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Brokerage and clearing industry experience.
• Middle Office and Back Office domain experience.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as MQ.
• IBM Mainframe experience.
