Workday Quality Assurance Lead (Workday)

Location: In-person, remote, or hybrid work environment

Estimated base pay: $97,000–$131,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead QA strategy for Workday implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and transformation programs.
• Define test plans, strategies, frameworks, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Oversee functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking, and related integrations.
• Manage defect identification, prioritization, tracking, resolution, and reporting.
• Coordinate test data, environments, release validation, quality reporting, and UAT sign-off.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, system integrators, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of quality assurance experience, including 3+ years supporting Workday implementations.
• Deep understanding of Workday business processes and configurations.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps and Workday functional test automation.
• Strong functional, end-to-end, UAT planning, defect management, QA metrics, and reporting experience.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder-management, organizational, and tradeoff decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Professional Services Automation implementation experience.
• Workday PRO, ISTQB, CSQA, Agile Testing, CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe POPM certification.
• Experience with multiple Workday modules, distributed or offshore delivery teams, and third-party integrations.
• Background in professional services, accounting, financial services, or another matrixed business environment.
