Quality Program Manager (Automotive)

Location: Neumarkt, Germany; approximately 80% local and international travel is expected.

What you will do

• Define quality safe-launch plans for new projects, including APQP.
• Represent quality in project reviews, product and process reviews, design reviews, and PDP and operational gate reviews.
• Coordinate escalation and problem-solving activities for issues that may affect launches and project milestones.
• Plan and execute Production Readiness Assessments for projects and business transfers.
• Manage AQP communication with customers and internal stakeholders, monitor project activities, and track quality metrics.
• Prepare and accompany customer quality visits and plant audits, develop AQP teams, address component risks through PFMEA and control plans, and support PPAP approval.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of automotive engineering, quality, or similar experience.
• Advanced English and the local language are required.
• Experience leading a team, with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a flexible, structured, and organized manner.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally for approximately 80% of the role.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to read engineering drawings.
