TL;DR
Contracts Program Manager (EU Government Programs): Supporting business development, commercial proposals, and contract execution for EU and European government-funded semiconductor programs with an accent on contract strategy, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on assessing contractual risks, developing mitigation approaches, and contributing to negotiations with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry partners.

What you will do

  • Represent hirify.global in engagements with the European Commission and European member states regarding the EU Chips Act and other government initiatives.
  • Develop opportunity pipelines with ecosystem partners, academic institutions, established organisations, and semiconductor start-ups.
  • Define software, hardware, and cloud requirements and support proposal and contract development.
  • Guide teams through RFQs, RFPs, proposal development, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Assess contract terms, identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and propose alternative contractual language.
  • Escalate commercial, operational, and financial risks to executive management, Legal, and Sales stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in silicon design, electronics manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience with multiple stages of government contract negotiation and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex contractual and regulatory documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or related technical industries; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of EU government funding programmes, including the EU Chips Act.
  • Additional language skills such as German or French.
