Senior Director – IT M&A Integration & Digital Transformation (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, United States. Full-time role with travel typically Monday–Thursday and authorization to work in the United States required.

Estimated base salary: $190,000–$250,000 annually, plus potential annual incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end IT integration for mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and separations from due diligence and Day 1 readiness through TSA exit and value realization.
• Advise healthcare provider clients and senior executives on IT strategy, operating models, digital roadmaps, and technology-enabled transformation.
• Deliver transformation programs involving EHR, ERP, AI, automation, telehealth, advanced analytics, cloud, cybersecurity, and patient-facing technologies.
• Establish integration methodologies, playbooks, governance models, decision frameworks, escalation paths, and delivery standards.
• Lead multi-workstream teams, manage delivery risks and economics, and ensure quality, budget, timeline, and value realization outcomes.
• Build client relationships, support proposals and business development, and scale hirify.global’s IT M&A integration and digital transformation capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is valued.
• 12+ years of consulting experience in digital transformation and/or IT integration, with significant Big 4 or top-tier management consulting experience.
• Direct experience leading IT integration for mergers, acquisitions, or carve-outs with accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Experience delivering healthcare technology transformations involving EHR, ERP, AI, telehealth, data analytics, scope, budgets, timelines, and client relationships.
• Strong understanding of healthcare provider operations, including acute care, ambulatory settings, patient access, and clinical workflows.
• Exceptional executive communication, critical thinking, program leadership, and client management skills; willingness to travel and authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Epic, Cerner, Salesforce Health Cloud, Workday, Oracle, SAP, or Infor.
• Knowledge of healthcare finance, FP&A, revenue reconciliation, and close automation.
• Experience building or scaling an IT integration capability or center of excellence.
• Experience with healthcare payment models, vendor management, sourcing decisions, or matrixed organizations.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or CPHIMS certification.
