What you will do

• Support Producers and Account Executives with marketing, servicing, and documentation for commercial insurance accounts.
• Identify account-rounding and coverage-enhancement opportunities and help develop renewal strategies.
• Analyze carrier quotes, coverage options, ratings, and policy terms to determine suitable client solutions.
• Review new and renewal policies for accuracy and provide service for policy changes, payments, claims, billing, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Prepare proposals, communicate with clients and third parties, and research coverage, underwriting, and claims-history issues.
• Collect risk and underwriting information, including census data, surveys, and loss history, while maintaining electronic files.

Requirements

• Texas General Lines Agent License in Property & Casualty, or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
• At least two years of commercial insurance experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with one year of insurance-related experience or a CISR/TIIA Commercial Lines designation.
• Ability to retain a commercial book of business valued between $450,000 and $650,000.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications.

• Insurance designations such as CISR, ACSR, CRM, or CIC.
