Service Technician I (Microcontamination Monitoring)

Location: Niwot, Colorado, United States; 100% onsite

Salary: $26.00–$29.00 per hour, depending on experience.

hirify.global develops and manufactures microcontamination monitoring equipment, including light-scattering particle counters, for semiconductor and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

What you will do

• Calibrate electronic equipment and support customer calibration and maintenance of microcontamination monitoring systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair customer equipment while developing service and diagnostic expertise.
• Research customer problems and complaints and provide timely, efficient solutions.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments.
• Evaluate processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or a military equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics in English.
• Knowledge of A/C and D/C converters, microprocessors, and analog and digital circuits.
• Strong troubleshooting, verbal communication, written communication, and independent-working skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally and work in a laboratory environment, including sitting, standing, computer use, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Customer-focused team player with a sense of urgency and commitment to quality.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of helium-neon lasers, diode lasers, or collecting and condensing optics.
