Customer Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Use basic diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior field service engineers and customers on roadmaps, process flows, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Communicate directly with customers and travel approximately 25% of the time.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude involving pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport if travel is required.
• Ability to meet all on-site, safety, environmental, and clean-room requirements.
