Workday Integration Lead - AMS (Workday)

Location: Chicago, United States; no travel required unless requested by the client

Base salary: $135,000–$165,000 USD annually. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive compensation: $162,000–$198,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, optimization, and ongoing support of complex Workday integrations.
• Apply hands-on expertise in Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and other Workday integration tools.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions across the Workday ecosystem.
• Analyze requirements, produce technical specifications, conduct unit and system testing, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Partner with functional and delivery teams and support clients in AMS / Managed Services environments.
• Mentor junior consultants, review deliverables, delegate work, and contribute to team development.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Workday technical roles with hands-on ownership of integrations and technical design.
• Deep expertise in Workday Studio and integration development, including EIBs, Core Connectors, and APIs.
• Experience supporting data flows across Workday HCM and Financials; Student exposure is beneficial.
• Experience translating functional requirements into technical solutions and supporting testing, reconciliation, and data validation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.

Nice to have

• Active Workday Certification, especially in Integrations; HCM, Financials, or Student certifications are beneficial.
• AMS / Managed Services experience, including Tier 3 incident management and ongoing client support.
• Experience with BIRT or reporting tools.
• Experience supporting medium- to large-scale Workday implementations or post-production environments.
