Workday Integration Developer (Workday)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain inbound and outbound Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and PECI.
• Connect Workday with payroll, benefits, IT provisioning, finance, analytics, and major SaaS platforms.
• Build XSLT transformations, calculated fields, custom reports, report-as-a-service integrations, and Workday REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Configure integration system users, ISSGs, security settings, tenant-level integration setup, business processes, and condition rules.
• Design error handling, retries, notifications, regression testing, tenant refresh planning, and Workday release validation.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, IT, finance, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; support production incidents, documentation, code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored for this position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12 or more years of Workday integration development experience.
• Deep expertise in EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, XSLT, Workday REST/SOAP APIs, the Workday data model, tenant configuration, and security patterns including ISU/ISSG.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, calculated field, and custom report design skills.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro Integrations certification.
• Experience with PICOF, PECI, or Cloud Connect for Payroll.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend and multi-tenant or multi-region deployments.
• Experience integrating Workday with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or other major SaaS platforms.
